death penalty

i disagree with the idea of taking someone else life away because of a mistake they had made, my principle did not change from this topic because i still believe and stand with my point. the way i see it is it is not okay for another human being to have that much power on destroying someone else life, that should be left for God to do so. when giving people that amount of power it is taking out of control so many times we see some people that are innocent who are facing the death penalty and where as the real criminals are on the street guilt free.

the way i feel about abortion have a lot to do with my religion, but also with someone taking responsibility for their action. i believe if you are able to lay down and have sex you should know that there is a possibility that a child might be conceive while you at it. a person should be able to take care of they responsibility, yes i understand that everyone is in title with their own decision but like noorman say what about that fetus that can't stand up for him/her self yet, it is still a human being inside of you and that fetus should be able to have its freedom.
as much i disagree with abortion a lot of time i think its that child benefits for that person to have an abortion, they are a lot of unfit parents that are out there mistreating those children and having them living it a life that it will be able of for them if they did decide to have an abortion. which is where i have a conflict because all i really care about is that child so if its an unfit parents would i rather have that child be put in a horrible situation or just take it life away while its still a fetus.

the first contemporary issue did had a lot of effect on my principle, before reading those two articles i was totally against the idea of cloning. i felt that it will be unfair situation for that person that actually is the clone until i read more into Toeley point of view. i realized that as human we all have that ego we want to keep up whether we will admit it or not. now i see it is not as big of problem that i taught it was because when raisin a child you want that child to have an reflection of you and be proud. it challenge my point a lot  because i tried my best to explain that it is not fair for someone to live the same life that someone had already lived and that the person didn't have a choice. when it come to that challenging for me that is where i am in between when it come to cloning i feel like that person doesn't have a chance to do decide whether they want to be a clone or not. Toeley has to be the most consistent with my point only because the idea is actually really great and the fact that everybody would want to have someone exactly like them out there and most importantly we as women won't need men anymore.

before entering this class i was always taught to act with respect, because the only way for people to have respect for you is if you have respect for yourself. being raise in a christian home i was also taught to treat people the way that you would want to be treated. i believe we all are human and will make mistake sometimes but as long as you learn from that mistake and make sure that it does not repeat again than that is fine.
some of the readings that we have done in class do have some what of an impact of my principles. making the most out of your life, learning from mistake that you make, and treats others the same ways you would want to be treated. learning something everyday living life and enjoying the best of it, like aristotle once you find something you have a passion for than live for that thing and make the best of it.
